Our Founder
Ken Anderson was a native of Chicago, IL, where he attended Northwestern University. An entrepreneur in the manufacturing and selling of medical devices, Ken owned a Respiratory Therapy business in Kansas City prior to relocating to Springfield, Missouri. It was there he met his wife Paulette and started Tech-Medical Services in 1989 and TMS Sterilization in 2012. Tech-Medical is the company it is today because of the relationships Ken built with the distributors, manufacturers, and colleagues he worked with. Ken is remembered for the contributions he made to the medical community and the lives of all he touched.
Current Leadership
Prior to acquiring Tech-Medical Services in 2018, Dr. Stephen Mueller accumulated 15 years of executive management experience in the computer industry, including the founding of two technology start-up companies. Dr. Mueller has been an entrepreneurship educator for 25 years serving on the faculty at Missouri State University, Northern Kentucky University, Texas Christian University, and Florida International University. During his academic career, he taught a variety of courses in strategic management, small business management, venture planning, and management of innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Texas, as well as a Masters in Accounting and MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington.
